Mission Statement
To create a successful and elite junior ski team by balancing personal development, training, goal setting and competition on an individual basis.
Welcome back to a new season of junior development ski racing. We improved on an already excellent program with a great coaching staff, added training and a streamline competitive cost.
Participation in the JDT program is for racers 14 and under (14 year of age or younger as of January 1st).

Program Cost
Two JDT programs are available for the 2019 season. Our traditional 2 days per week (Thursday and Sunday) and our new JDT Plus program (6 days a week available training). JDT 2019 cost is $600 and JDT Plus cost is $1000. Applications are collected by our new online registration form and payments are due in full by November 1; WinAlpine JDT fees include all coaching at home locations on Thursday evening and Sunday, single day or weekend away and home race event events. WinAlpine JDT Plus fees include all the benefits of our regular JDT program with the addition of Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday evening training and Saturday day training. JDT programs do not include coaches travel expenses to overnight away events; these trips are billed at $20/day in addition to race entry fees.
In order for us to help staff and plan for a successful season, all applications received after November 1st will incur a $100- late fee. Late fee does not apply to new members with WinAlpine and/or racers joining the WinAlpine JDT team for their first season.
Race entry fees and transportation to races are your own responsibility. Parent participation is highly encouraged on race day.  No athletes may train, or compete under Win Alpine Junior Development program without a completed application. Multiple day away events / trip will incur a trip fee to cover coach travel, lodging, per-diem, etc.

Online registration and payment
New this season is our online registration and payment form. This form is easy and all payments (deposits) will be made by credit card. You will be provided an invoice and summary of billing, with additional information as requested (for tax purposed). Use this link to proceed to online resignation and payment.

Email / email club list
We will be compiling a team email list, please fill this out to be added to our regular weekend and monthly emails. This is a simple form that can be filled out at EMAIL LIST
Email is how we communicate with you, so please check it regularly.  It is very important you check for messages from us each day before you leave for training, or races to see if there are any changes in the schedule.

Parent Meeting Oct. 21 (Sunday) ~ 6:00 PM Cannonsburg
We will be holding our parent and coaches meeting at Cannonsburg in the Main Lodge. Bring a friend or family member that may be interested in ski racing; remember, this is a life long sport that you can do with your family and enjoy for many years. We will cover the training plan and race training locations and details. We hope that our entire coaching staff can join us.

Equipment Consulting
This is the time to check your equipment and make sure it is all safe, sound and the proper size. We have great resources to help you make the right choice for equipment and get set up for next season. It is never to early to get your equipment ready for next season. If you have questions (do not be shy, it is better to prepare equipment now then when we have snow). Ski racing is made great when we make the best choices we can in order to prepare ourselves for future success.

Dryland training
Dryland will be starting on Oct. 6 (Saturday) at 9:00 am at Cannonsburg and then it will continue every Saturday at 9:00 am.  Our final dryland training is Nov. 10 (Saturday).  If we can add additional dates, we will notify you by email.  Dryland consists of conditioning and drills to better prepare the athlete’s muscles and motor skills for the upcoming ski race season.
